At the begining, the a-pipes would be made of an electronic board that fits into a regular bagpipes chanter.
In 2022, thanks to miniaturization techniques, a new single circuit can embedd every a-pipes features, including optional modules (radio, bluetooth).
Powered by a LIPO battery rechargeable over USB, this removable board takes place into any regular McCallum MK1 or MK2 chanter.
However, this project will remain at the prototype stage because it is difficult to industrialize.
